Hey there, fellow seekers of inspiration, resonance, and all things delightful!

You might wonder what JourneyJournalJoy stands for. It's not a business, it's a lifestyle. More than a brand, it's a creative haven, a passion, an investment of time, a crucible of inspiration and fervor. Here at JourneyJournalJoy, the belief is firm: reading and thinking should be as natural and as necessary as breathing — no reason needed.

The roots of JourneyJournalJoy grow from an enduring love for reading — a serious dedication to books, newspapers, and the likes. Coupled with this is an obsession for stationery. Picture a child carrying 30 pens to school and making weekly visits to bookstores and stationery shops (The pursuit of the perfect notebook led to designing one!). The aesthetic sense and high standards here are attributed to immersion in literature and film art.

Fast forward a bit and I've got a BFA, BE, and MA to my name, all in fields like cinema, news critique, finance, and communication, the call to pursue an MBA or a PhD was strong. However, as half the days began to be filled with Microsoft Office and the professional realm once dreamed of, disillusionment set in. The relentless pursuit of more degrees, the bombardment of ads, the cunning world of big data marketing and consumerism—it was all draining, distancing me from the real essence of life.

Guided by my individuality and insights into the 'system', a conscious choice was made not to plunge into the film or finance industry — yes, despite their potential to bring fame or fortune. Some might think I'm putting on airs, but it's simply a quest for balance.

At heart, JourneyJournalJoy is idealistic, preferring to do things with a sincere and pure purpose, especially if it's mutually beneficial. The true worth of this journey is when it offers convenience, inspiration, or assistance to others, and their feedback reinforces this value.

Venturing into adulthood, my self-awareness grew, and I battled with serious anxiety and OCD. Yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, and psychology became avenues of exploration. After some detours, it was my long-standing habits of reading and writing that emerged as the most effective remedies. So, this realization sparked the decision to convert these personal experiences into practical tools for fostering habits of reading, writing, thinking, and lifelong learning, and to seamlessly integrate them into our daily life. It's been a rewarding journey so far!

Let's take a breather, delve into our thoughts, and write them down. Happy to have crossed paths with you!
